Boat Wash Station
Located at 116 Louisa Road in Wentworth.
In 2015, the municipality introduced a Boat Wash Station to protect water quality, following awareness-raising among citizens and elected representatives. Since then, it has kept abreast of progress in this area. In 2023, invasive aquatic species, such as the Chinese snapper, were detected in two lakes. The municipal council plans to modernize the facilities and modify the bylaws to prevent invasions and ensure the quality and safety of the water bodies in 2024, while maintaining the initial objectives.
