To promote harmonious cohabitation, all pet owners must commit to respecting the rules in force and to behaving responsibly towards their neighbors and the environment.
In the Township of Wentworth, annual registration of your dog is mandatory. The cost is $10 per animal. Renewal is due by June 3 of each year. Replacement tags cost $5. Secondary residents with a valid license from another municipality in Quebec are exempt.

Dog park
Dog owners can enjoy the Lac Grace dog park, open from 8:00 am to 9:00 pm.
By-Law Number 2021-003
The Municipality of the Township of Wentworth is not responsible for any event or accident. The use of the dog park is at the user’s risks.
- Only dogs are allowed inside the dog park. No other pets are allowed.
- Aggressive dogs or those presenting symptoms of illness are not permitted.
- Dogs in heat are not permitted.
- Dogs must wear an identification tag issued by the Municipality.
- Children under 12 years of age are not permitted in the dog park.
- No food.
- It is your obligation to pick up your dog’s feces.
- Dogs must be under their guardian’s supervision and control.
- Use this park at your own risk.
