JOB OFFER - VOLUNTEER FIREFIGHTER

The Municipality of the Township of Wentworth is looking for men and women, ready to join the volunteer firefighter team for its Fire Department.

Key Responsabilities:
The work consists of responding to fire and other emergency call alerts, performing maintenance tasks of the Fire Station, equipments and material used in case of fires and intervention,  participating in training exercises and learning.

Qualifications required:

•  Be 18 years of age or over;
•  Commit to completing the current National School of Firefighter's training;
•  Commit to obtaining a class 4A driver's license;
•  Be in good physical condition.

Working conditions:

•  Remuneration according to the existing agreement (firefighter);
•  Part time (on call, requires high avaialbility to respond to emergency calls, attend meetings, monthly training sessions and training courses).
